Mothers Room

Mothers Room

The Brookings Public Library has a Mothers Room available on the second floor for parents who need a private space to feed their babies. It includes a rocking chair and foot stool, side table, changing table, and sink, and is available to anyone who needs to feed their baby or pump breastmilk.

To access the Mothers Room, stop at the Circulation Desk and let us know you’d like to use it. We’ll ask your first name and phone number, then we’ll let you into the room.

The furniture in the Mothers Room was funded by memorial donations in memory of Allison Tappan, longtime volunteer and employee at the Library.
