The Brookings Public Library Board recently accepted the report and plan submitted by the 2013 Citizens' Strategic Planning Committee.  This plan will direct the Library's continued reach for excellence through 2016.

The Committee recommended three roles on which the Library should focus:

  1. Lifelong Learning
  2. Reading, Viewing, and Listening for Pleasure
  3. Creating Young Readers through Early Literacy

To see the complete report and the objectives planned to achieve these goals, please go to the "How do I . . ." tab at the top of this page.  The report is also available for review at the Library Circulation Desk.
